Replacement Cost (Device Beyond Repair)
A new Chromebook costs $325. If a device cannot be repaired, the charge is reduced by $10 for every month the student has used it, to a minimum of $100.
Replacement cost = $325 − ($10 × months of use), minimum $100
Example: John has used his Chromebook for 7 months. His replacement cost is $325 − (7 × $10) = $255.
